COASTAL CENTURY HOME LIVING ROOM

We designed and renovated our 150 year Victorian home's living room bringing it into this century by expertly removing all it's original door and window trims as well as the coffered ceiling and then took the room back to the studs in order to add insulation, vapour barrier and drywall, we carefully accurately reinstalled the trims and the coffered ceiling, adding a beadboard treatment and crown to the ceiling coffers and then painted them all a fresh bright white.  The oak strip floors were too damaged to be sanded so new maple floors were laid to match the kitchen were then installed and finished on site with a warm medium stain that was eco friendly waterbased finishes. We designed and built new custom built-ins with beadboard backs to tie in to the ceiling that would provide extra display and storage and added a double picture rail between them. We created a custom light blue wall colour to evoke our “Coastal Century Home” style that we love.

CUSTOM FENCE FOR CENTURY HOME

The home owners of a century home wanted a new fence to keep their beloved pooches safe but wanted one that made a bit of a statement as well so we built them one that will last for many many years to come incorporating an x design to the panels and then adding the same to the top. They love it and think it turned out better than imagined!

The homeowner's of a gorgeous heritage plaqued home contacted us to help build them a new fence along with custom gates. We worked and collaborated with the homeowner on this project who was is a engineer and mastermind himself and was such a joy to work for and with. The cedar fence was created with custom (not cheaper store bought version) lattice that was time consuming but the end result was well worth it and befitting of a century homes craftsmanship.

CUSTOM RAISED DECK

This customers existing deck was becoming a serious liability so we stepped in and reinforced and levelled it properly, adding new facing boards and then added a beautiful railing and a new set of stairs complete with a gate to keep the pooch safe. They can now enjoy the great outdoors safely and in style.
